Our story

Llowarch Llowarch Architects (LLA) is an award winning RIBA Chartered Architect’s practice with a reputation for intelligent, sustainable and creative design solutions that satisfy their client’s unique requirements.

Established in 2003 by Nicola and Andrew Llowarch, LLA has extensive experience of private residential buildings and interiors, often drawing on our extensive heritage expertise encompassing conservation areas, grade I* & II listed settings, highly sensitive UNESCO World Heritage sites and Scheduled Ancient Monuments.

LLA are accustomed to challenging briefs with complex budgeting and programming requirements, managed through a rigourous and agile working method to ensure that design quality and integrity is maintained throughout the design process from concept through to detailing and construction.

Design proposals are developed collaboratively, informed by a thorough understanding of clients needs and detailed development of their brief, combined with insight into the constraints and opportunities within a site where discrete, sometimes relatively inexpensive solutions can unlock hidden potential or capacity, and can point to where best value can be achieved.
