Project: The Shingle House

2018

£200,000

Woodhall Spa

This ADSDF Architects project epitomises a sensitive and contemporary intervention into historic conservation area of Woodhall Spa, a victorian spa town in Lincolnshire. The materials and massing compliment the large dwelling originally designed by Architect Adolphus Came in the mid 19th century. The new extension is north facing and optimises the daylight into the deep plan of the house. The concept for the project is to connect to the garden and create a dramatic contrast to the existing house

Project: The Jones House

2020

Hull

This is a house built in the 1990's that is currently under renovation. It is part of a larger masterplanned scheme, five other houses designed by ADSDF sit along the narrow site, nestled into the tree tops. Our interior style epitomises the balance of bright white modern spaces with an eclectic mix of artwork, furniture and display objects and collections. We work with clients to source unusual and statement pieces to finish projects and create amazing architect designed interiors.

Project: The Music Studio

2016

Lincoln

This is a single-storey extension to a home of a music producer and musician. The project includes the multifunction performance space with a projection screen. The relationship between the garden and in the interior space is very important as the client enjoys jamming outside! The client brief was to maximise the area of a wedge-shaped site, maximise the use of light and take advantage of the garden.

Project: Thorney house modernisation

2020

Lincolnshire

This is an exciting project to be working on. It is the refurbishment of a bungalow in the woods. The project will improve the energy performance of the house by completely wrapping the existing brick with a new insulated finish. Internally the house will be completely reconfigured, opening up the living spaces and introducing plenty of light through roof lights.

Project: The Bicycle House

2016

Lincoln

This is a large addition to a Victorian house in one of Lincolns conservation areas. The project included extensive demolition and the client brief was to create a large living space totally connected to the garden. The large glazing opens to a covered terrace leading to the leafy garden. Internally the kitchen was completely refurbished and utility space and workshop were incorporated.
