Our story
Lama is an architecture and design practice with studios in both Bath and Dorset. Led by Carly Mallon and Scott Lewis we design bespoke new homes, reconfigure existing houses as well as providing interior and furniture advice. We are a small, close knit studio with vast experience delivery projects of all sizes across the south-west. We specialize in delivering crafted homes tailored to our clients needs.
We believe great architecture should celebrate the character of the client which is why we also offer interior design and furniture packages. Our design process is about working closely with our client to deliver the highest quality through unique design opportunities. Whilst creative thinking is at the forefront of our approach, we are grounded in the realities of construction and look to guide clients through the process of construction.

Project: Withy Villa

Winford
Withy Villa is a picturesque cottage that had previously been extended by a previous owner. The client approached us to consider options for improving the flow and circulation of the house as well as re-configurating a bedroom and old kitchenette to create a new guest suite. The design implemented replaced and re-orientated the staircase. The new stair and built in joinery are deliberate contemporary additions which improve the entrance sequence and quality of the space.
