Our story
MONGILLO CONSTRUCTION WORKSHOP is an emerging architecture and design practice founded by Sebastian Mongillo. Our services are focused on bespoke design solutions and we aim to create innovative and sustainable architecture creating unique spaces that suit the needs of the user.
We are a practice that offers full architectural and interior design services, from pre-purchase to on-site completion, always ensuring the very best quality.

About
Before founding MCW, Sebastian worked 15+ years in UK and international leading practices in a range of sectors including residential, office, education, science, refurb, and fit-out. Sebastian’s mission is to provide innovative, efficient, and sustainable solutions through exceptional client service and excellence in architectural design.

The site formerly consisted of a double garage in the front and a double-story three-bedroom house at the back of the plot. The original house was designed as an upside-down house, with the living quarters on the ground and the living room/kitchen on the first floor. The plot is located in Southeast London.
The project proposal is to flip the house layout back to a traditional layout. The aim is to create an open-plan kitchen and to connect the existing garages to the house through a playroom.
