We have been working together for 20 years. For almost half our lives, our shared interests and complementary backgrounds have challenged and supported each other in the fullest pursuit of our dreams.
We established our own practice in 2011 and have since become specialists in domestic low-energy retrofit.
DANIELA believes that delivering great homes means providing spaces that enhance your life. Her holistic design process encompasses the use of light, selection of materials and contact with nature. She enjoys the challenge of finding unique design solutions for the problems that face client’s.
GREG is passionate about sustainable design and existing building reuse. He has a profound appreciation for the craft of construction and an aptitude for spatial composition and technical design. He combines pragmatism with innovation and elegance. He is the happiest planning, strategising, and detailing or working alongside craftsmen to communicate ideas or refine details on site.
HOW WE WORK
Working together, we merge Italian design with Canadian practicality and pragmatism.
We combine visionary conceptual thinking, thoughtful and innovative design, and a keen sense of style with an attention to detail and a wealth of practical experience.
As Design Director, Daniela leads the earlier design stages and ensures continuity of vision through the technical design and construciton stages. As Managing and Technical Director, Greg oversees the early stage budget and programme planning, leading the technical design and delivery of all projects.
Working together with clients, we assess your requirements, along with the problems and opportunities present in your existing property. We develop solutions and guide you through the process of transforming your London property into a delightful, comfortable, healthy and energy-efficient family home that maximises space and offers flexibility.
Architects & Designers Project range: £100,000 - £500,000
Project: St Paul Street
This project consists of alterations and an extension to a two-bedroom Victorian terrace in the Arlington Square conservation area in Islington.
The original layout and lack of services proved insufficient for modern standards. The internal reorganisation, pivoting around the design of a new stair, has released usable area at each level and provides the entire ground floor with level access to the new rear garden by way of a full height L-shaped folding and sliding doors.

Project: Rosedale House
This 1920's period property is the second house we have transformed for one of our earliest clients, this time working with our friends at the local Toronto practice Solares Architecture. We created a sense of spaciousness and connection to the outdoors through an extensive alteration of the internal layout and rear of the property. Retaining the front facade, we reorganised entire interior layout. The leafy garden invades the interior thanks to large openings in every room

Project: Gladsmuir Road
MINIMISING THE IMPACT OF A NORTH SLOPING GARDEN
Refurbishing and extending this 3-storey terrace, we were asked to improve daylight and the connection to the north facing garden that slopes up from the house. The scheme for the ground floor wraparound extends into the slope with a new zinc and glass extension. A large glass roof and big sliding windows, which level with a rock and fern garden, bring the outdoors in, minimising the impact of the garden’s slope.
