What style of kitchens do your London kitchen showrooms make?
Many of the London kitchen showrooms that we feature on Love Renovate are bespoke kitchen companies, where a carpenter will hand make a kitchen individual to your home and finished exactly how you would like it. It's common to see bespoke kitchens in a traditional shaker style of kitchen, however it's also increasingly popular to have a bespoke modern style of kitchen.
A bespoke kitchen works particularly well if you live in a period property where the walls and floors may not be as easy to work with and fit a standard kitchen.
Expect to pay more for a bespoke kitchen as it takes longer to make a kitchen to your exact specification.
A stunning modern kitchen with a floating island by Moiety Kitchens, based in North London
We have many modern kitchen showrooms on Love Renovate, many of which are manufactured in Germany or Italy. Modern kitchens can look so striking and there are so many styles to choose - from white gloss to matt black. When choosing a modern kitchen, your kitchen designer will be able to help with the lighting and modern appliances to create a truly modern and striking kitchen. One of our kitchen showrooms even designs floating kitchen islands, which are extremely modern in design and looks stunning.
Traditional kitchens will always be so popular, particularly in period properties in London. The kitchen showrooms on Love Renovate will design a traditional shaker style kitchen. Deep blues and greens are really popular, as is the timeless choice of grey or cream. Brass and copper has been so popular in a traditional kitchen of the past few years and will continue to be so. Flooring choices of large tiles or wooden flooring sets of the traditional kitchen look perfectly.
Plywood kitchens are now becoming one of the fastest growing kitchen trends and are increasingly popular for those who would like a mid-century style of kitchen. Simple styles with fun colours and modern architecture, we are proud that we have kitchen companies who manufacture their kitchens with high quality plywood. These kitchens are made by hand are thought to be an excellent sustainable choice.

What products and services can a London kitchen showroom provide?
You will expect everything from the design of your kitchen, through to manufacture and installation available at your London kitchen showroom. Many of the kitchen showrooms provide a supply only service where you can get your own builder to install the kitchen for you - this works well if you have a builder who is already carrying out an extension for you.
Most of the showrooms will also provide aftercare, so that if there is something not quite right with your kitchen then they will be able to help.
Besides designing and manufacturing the kitchen cabinets, you can expect to be able to source other products for your new kitchen, including taps, worktops, flooring, knobs and handles, sinks and appliances. Some of the smaller bespoke kitchen firms will specialise in making the cabinets only but will be able to advise on sourcing the other products.

What is the price range of the London kitchen showrooms on Love Renovate?
We feature a full range of kitchen showrooms whose prices range from £10,000 to £150,000 for a new kitchen.
The cost of the kitchen depends on many factors including materials used, size of the kitchen and whether it's a handmade bespoke kitchen or a kitchen from a pre-made range. Also where the kitchen is manufactured has an impact on the cost and also the level of service your kitchen company is providing you with - whether they are doing everything from the design through to the installation.

What's a typical process when working with a kitchen showroom?
You can contact the kitchen showroom directly on Love Renovate or else visit their own website to arrange an appointment. Most London kitchen showrooms, particularly the small showrooms, work on an appointment basis only, so it's best to make an appointment before you pop in.
Your kitchen designer will be able to help design your new kitchen - it's best to go in with the dimensions of your kitchen and an idea of what you would like. It's also useful if you can tell them where existing doors and windows are and their dimensions. Many kitchen designers will visit your home before making your kitchen to go through the measurements.
Expect a lead time of anything from several weeks to months. This again is dependent on whether your kitchen showroom is making a bespoke kitchen for you, which will obviously take much longer.
After this, you may want to take delivery of your kitchen if your kitchen showroom is not fitting it for you.
